Heinrich Theodor Wuppermann <\/strong>stated in his will that a foundation should be set up to give the family \u201ca firm bond\u201d. In 1910, his widow Luise and her eight children decided to set up this foundation. In 1922, the foundation, originally established as the Theodor Wuppermann’sche Familienstiftung, was renamed the \u201cHeinrich Theodor Wuppermann’sche Familienstiftung \u201d <\/strong>in honor of the founder. <\/p>

The purpose of the foundation is to support needy family members in a difficult economic situation. It does not pursue any economic interests of its own. The Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors, which is elected by the Annual General Meeting and consists of at least five people.
All descendants of the founders aged 18 and over can become members of the Heinrich Theodor Wuppermann Family Foundation<\/strong>. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Heinrich Theodor Wuppermann<\/strong> was born on March 16, 1835 as the eldest son of Carl Theodor Wuppermann<\/strong> and Emma, n\u00e9e Scheibler <\/strong>was born in the Sch\u00fcren house in Barmen. In 1851, he decided to pursue a career in agriculture and was offered an apprenticeship in Pomerania. After completing his training, he initially worked on various farms until he acquired the Neu-K\u00fcnkendorf estate near Angerm\u00fcnde in 1863. During this time, he met his future wife Luise Deutsch<\/strong> in Dobberzin and asked her to marry him on October 29, 1867.
In 1871, he sold the estate and set off in search of a new agricultural or industrial property, traveling through western and southern Germany.
After 21 years of farming, at the age of 46, Heinrich Theodor surprised his wife, who had remained in Angerm\u00fcnde, with a telegram: “Bought factory in D\u00fcsseldorf!”.<\/strong> This marked the founding of Theodor Wuppermann GmbH<\/strong>, today’s Wuppermann AG<\/strong> <\/a>. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
